Here’s an excellent warm-up routine for anyone of any level and is designed to warm the body up from cold.
This routine is based on a yoga sequence called “Salute to the Sun” and comes in many forms, this one being an easier version for beginners.
Use it as a standalone exercise in the morning, or as a warmup before your next training session.
The key to this exercise is to take it slowly and to only breathe through your nose.
If you find you’re getting out of breathe, slow down or pause at a comfortable position until you’re caught your breath.
Do as many cycles as you want at least until you feel warm.
